We have been melting for headpieces lately.  Extravagant bows, large silk blooms, miniature sparkling crystals, beading, the list goes on and on!  Not for the timid fashionista, these gorgeous pieces add an element of drama to an outfit and can make it much more captivating, memorable and formal.

Twigs and Honey is another delightful maker of this beautiful ornaments for the head.  We love that Myra creates a versatile line for ladies seeking just about anything in a headpiece.  Her creations are both whimsical & dainty and absolutely B.E.A.U.tiful!

Off to the Races!

Oh, why looky here - another reason to wear headpieces!  The Kentucky Derby!

While "headpiece" may be reminiscent of "headgear" we assure you, that's where the similarities end.  They're quite delightful!  We're entirely sold on them.  
If fact, I just so happen to be on the hunt for the perfect Derby headpiece this afternoon whilst this morning I *just* placed an order for a wedding shower headpiece as well as a wedding fascinator! Perhaps I'll share their divine details with you come Monday.
So, literally, sold on the hats!


Are you intrigued by the equestrian look & style?  So snotty, such rich colors and classic style.  It's quite handsome, if we do say so ourselves.  An equestrian inspired engagement shoot seemed an appropriate sign off for the weekend.

Wouldn't you say the equestrian look is so often compared with the country look and yet the two couldn't be more dissimilar?  Hmm.  We felt the same!
