Cinco de Mayo!

On this 5th of May dedicated to the celebration of Mexican heritage & pride we thought we would showcase beautiful ways to bring cultural elements into wedding decor using the ever-so-charming art of papel picado!
If we could create a celebration custom for today (or any sunny, perfect evening) there would be delicious margaritas with ripe and luscious chunks of fruit, papel picado strands mingling with vintage lightbulb strands above & a mariachi band in traditional garb.  It would be splendid.

Isn't this art form lovely?

As you can see it's possible to have these perfect little flags personalized for your special day!  It's also an option to have small flags made.  Our favorite artist is Ay Mujer on the ever so brilliant Etsy.

Wouldn't it be a perfect keepsake to frame one flag capturing so many memories of a celebration in time and have it on display forevermore?
