Fun Fact:

Ever wonder what's behind brides wearing a white wedding dress?

It wasn't, in fact, a proclamation of virginity (although we're sure it was to some extent) but actually Queen Victoria, the longest reigning British Monarch, created this tradition.  Victoria's was the first royal wedding to take place after the advent of photography and she sported the white dress to signify that it was a special dress, a dress that probably would not be worn on multiple occasions due to the nature of white. A little bird (Mindy Weiss) told us so.
    Now you know!
